What is the difference between cleaning and disinfecting?
Answer: Cleaning and disinfecting are not the same thing. In most cases, cleaning with soap and water is adequate. It removes dirt and most of the germs. However, in other situations disinfecting provides that extra margin of safety
How long does Disifin last once the solution have been made up?
Answer: Disifin lasts up to 8 weeks in our special Ultra Violet protected reusable spray bottle and 1 week in an open container.

Can Disifin Animal disinfect Vivariums?
Answer: Disifin Animal is completely safe to disinfect Vivariums and will not damage any equipment.
Is Disifin aquatic safe?
Answer: Yes, Disifin is aquatic safe, its used in Koi and Salmon fish farming to help kill Skin flukes (Gyrodactylus ) and gill flukes (Dactylogyrus ). It will be biodegrades naturally by ultra violet light (UV) within few weeks.
Is Disifin effective against Clostridium Difficile (C. Difficile) spores?
Answer: Yes, Disifin has passed BS EN13704 against Clostridium Difficile Contact time is 30 minutes (1 tablet per 500ml water)
Do Disifin Tablets contain cleaning agents?
Answer: Disifin Tablets do not contain cleaning agents (detergent).
For best results we advice to pre-clean the surface first, then disinfect with Disifin. Disifin will work on heavily soiled surfaces, but pre-cleaning insures there is more active disinfectant to attack the germs Research has shown that Disinfectants without cleaning agents are more effective at killing germs.
